| Steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 |
| Step 1: Open your video in Avidemux |
| Step 2: Select the video type |

| Step 3: Click on “Filters” |
 |
| Select Subtitles. Select the appropriate subtitle format. |
 |
| Step 4: In case Avidemux is complaining about the size of video, resize the video as below. |
 |
| Step 5: Under the Audio section, select Copy. Under format section, select the appropriate out put format. |
 |
Step 6: Save the video. Now the subtitle will be saved to the video. |
